Our Sir Issac Newton College Of Nursing ,Pappakovil Nagapattinam was established in the year 2017,with ANM course, DGNM & B.sc (Nursing) Programme was Started in the year 2018 with five departments. Our college is recognized by State Nurses and Midwives Council, Chennai and The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University. Our institution has excellent infrastructure facilities include class Rooms, Labs and Library. The institution is adopting innovative methods of teaching for learners with experienced faculty with vision and proficiency in their fields. Our library is well equipped with adequate number of books including new editions, national and international journals , e – journals ,wifi and internet facilities. The indoor and outdoor games facilities are available for the sports activities of the students.
The Students are getting their clinical experience in Government Thiruvarur Medical College and Hospital, Thiruvarur. Multi Specialty 1200 bedded teaching hospitals, which are well equipped with diagnostic and treatment facilities, run by well –experienced and competent health team professionals. For the community health experience we have urban and rural health centers. We have separate hostel facilities for girls which are well furnished. The students of our institution are encouraged to participate in various co-curricular and extracurricular activities within and outside the college. The institution has good transportation facilities to pick up and drop the students.
